HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU Athletics in conjunction with Peak Sports and Toyota of Hackensack announced on Friday a new partnership agreement that will make Toyota of Hackensack, the Official Auto Dealer and hold the naming rights to the FDU Field House.
"This partnership is just another step in the evolution of our Athletic Department at FDU," said Senior Associate Vice President/Athletic Director Brad Hurlbut. "Partnering with a brand like Toyota that has a local presence in Hackensack is the best of both worlds for us. With this announcement, we continue to better the student-athlete experience on campus, while cementing roots in the surrounding communities of Teaneck and Hackensack."
By entering into this agreement, Toyota of Hackensack, who is celebrating their 50
th anniversary, puts forth a major commitment to FDU Athletics. The Knights' newest partner will have a strong presence on campus, with signage at the Bogota Savings Bank Center and other athletic venues and an increased tangible representation at FDU home basketball games.
Toyota of Hackensack will also contribute to ongoing improvements made to the freshly renamed Field House in Teaneck, which houses the locker rooms and offices of men's and women's soccer, lacrosse, tennis and baseball. The renovations will center around the athletic training room this winter to further enhance the student-athlete experience.
Additionally, the Field House is central hub to the newly renovated Naimoli Family Baseball Complex, University Stadium, and the FDU Tennis Courts and the primary parking location for all visitors. Toyota of Hackensack will have their presence on all navigation apps and search engines.
