Boyce Leads the Charge at Rider Invitational With Triple Jump Win

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – FDU men's and women's track and field headed back to Rider earlier today to participate in the Rider Invitational. It was a slow day for the Knights, who saw tough opponents from Monmouth, Quinnipiac, Rutgers, Scared Heart, Seton Hall, Wagner and more. Freshman Khalia Boyce led the Knights with the only first place finish, shattering her previous record of 10.73m with an 11.44m mark. 
 
-Freshman Juline Nwosu placed 12th in the women's 100m with a time of 13.17
-Freshman Tele Abe finished ninth in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 16.46
-Senior Dane Theuerkauf had an impressive 37.15m mark in the discus for a 13th place finish
-Freshman Rilwan Olunlade placed sixth in the men's high jump with a 1.90m mark
-Freshman Khalia Boyce won the women's triple jump with an 11.44m mark.
 
The Knights look ahead to the NEC Championships, hosted by Central Connecticut on May 4-5.
