HACKENSACK, N.J. – Salif Mane OLY (FDU '24) will have his 2024 Triple Jump National Championship banner raised at the FDU men's basketball game on January 30, 2025. FDU has officially deemed it "
Salif Mane Night" at the Bogota Savings Bank Center.
The game between the Knights and Le Moyne will tipoff at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at
FDUKnights.com/tickets.
Mane, who graduated in May with a degree in civil engineering, is the most decorated athlete in FDU history. The track and field superstar just put together an incredible summer where he captured both the NCAA Outdoor National Championship and Olympic Trials Championship in June, becoming just the second male collegian to win both titles in the same year. Mane then went on to become an Olympic finalist at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. This was aptly called the 'Summer of Salif".
On top of these 2024 achievements, Mane's dominance in the NCAA ranks began when he arrived at FDU in 2020. As a Knight, the Bronx native won 13 NEC Championships and garnered All-American honors seven times. He is tied for the most All-American honors in NEC history.
Mane's National Championship banner will be joined by another banner that will list the names of every FDU Olympian in school history. He will also receive his 2024 National Championship ring when the Knights honor him in January.
