HACKENSACK, N.J. – Men's basketball announced the signing of Kody Frey on Thursday afternoon. Frey is set to join the Knights for the 2025-26 season.
 
"We are excited to add Kody to our program," said head coach Jack Castleberry. "He is a fine young man that comes from a basketball family. He affects the game in a variety of ways with his shooting and his athleticism & his competitive nature. His game fits in perfectly to what we do here at FDU."
 
Frey, a 6'6 guard from Raleigh, N.C, attended Green Hope High School. He was named all-conference in the Tar Heel State. He also played at the AAU level for 1 of 1 Elite.
 
Kevin Frey, Kody's father, was a four-year starter on the men's basketball team at Xavier. He graduated in 2002.
 
Frey is a projected business management major at FDU.
