Staten Island, N.Y.- The FDU Men and Women's Track and Field team had a successful day in New York at the Ramapo College Season Opener. The Knights saw nine top-ten finishes as well as a number of personal records.

Julian Jamison placed seventh in the 60m with a time of 7.38, a personal best for him
-Freshmen
Tele Abe and Rilwan Olulande finished second and sixth in the Men's 60m Hurdles, with respective times of 8.54 and 8.99
-Sophomore
Andree Celestin won the Women's 60m Hurdles with a personal best of 9.13
-Graduate Student
Raul Esteves placed ninth in the Men's 200m with a time of 22.71
-Freshman
Anaya Lowder saw a personal best in the Women's 400m with a time of 1:00.91
-Freshman
Tata Coulibaly finished 17
th in the Women's High Jump with a height of 1.37m

Marie Etong Ntonga and
Taliyah Furtick all participated in the Women's Long Jump, placing 14
th, 15
th and 19
th

Jashad Kersey and
Zander Romero both saw personal bests in the Men's Long Jump with distances of 6.06m and 6.05m

Ella Johnson and Graduate Student
Shantel Worrell saw success in the Women's Shot Put, placing sixth and ninth with respective distances of 10.82m and 10.33m
-Freshman
Amiyah Williams had an explosive distance of 10.76m in the Women's Triple Jump, earning her fourth place
-Freshman
Nilaja Wiltshire saw a personal best in the Women's Weight Throw with a distance of 14.63m, that secured her fifth place
The Knights will look ahead to the Villanova Invitational, taking place tomorrow (01/20) at The Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, N.Y..
