TEANECK, N.J. - The reigning Northeast Conference regular season and tournament champions are back as FDU men's soccer embarks on the 68th season in program history. The 10-time NEC champions, fresh off the side's 19th NCAA tournament appearance, begin their season at Fairfield on August 24.

"We like to challenge ourselves by playing outstanding non-conference opponents," said head coach Seth Roland, the reigning NEC Coach of the Year. "Last year, it was consecutive games against NCAA tournament teams Wake Forest, Penn and Seton Hall. This coming fall, we continue that approach by playing 2022 NCAA national semifinalist Pitt, Hofstra, Cal, Villanova and Saint Mary's (Calif.). Our players like seeing how we compare to these top teams and feel it prepares us well for the rigors of NEC play. Time will tell if it works as well for us this coming year as it did for us in 2022."

Playing their first home match of the season on August 28, Roland's Knights welcome Hofstra to the banks of the Hackensack before a west coast road trip as the Burgundy and Blue battle PAC-12 member Cal, followed by a matchup against Saint Mary's (Sep. 1 and Sep. 4).

Returning back to the east coast, FDU heads to Villanova before coming back to Teaneck for the return match of a home-and-home with Lafayette at University Stadium. The Knights then travel to Pittsburgh for the first-ever meeting between FDU and Pitt.

Taking a break from non-conference play, the Knights begin the league slate with a home game against Howard before traveling to Saint Francis U and welcoming Le Moyne in the inaugural meeting between FDU and the newest member of the nine-member NEC.

FDU closes non-conference play on October 25 at Drexel.

In all, the Knights will host six matches at University Stadium. All home matches will air live on NEC Front Row and the NEC On the Run app. Schedule subject to change. All times Eastern unless otherwise noted.
