GRASSONVILLE, M.D.- FDU finished eighth at the Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay, shooting a +65 at Prospect Bay Country Club. Due to rain during round one, the event was shortened from three rounds to two.
FDU fired a 318 in round one and followed it up with a 323 in round two for their total of 65 over par. Led by
Victoria Schroedl who had four, the team made 13 birdies on the week, which was sixth-most of all teams in the field. The team scored an average of 3.56 on par 3s, 4.71 on par 4s, and 5.35 on par 5s.
Schroedl was FDU's top performer on the weekend. She finished tied for 23
rd with a score +14. Schroedl pasted two birdies on the scorecard on day one but was slowed down by a triple bogey on hole 10. She finished the round six over par. Schroedl put together a 37 on the front nine in round two but struggled crossing the finish line and finished the day with a +8.
Kaitlyn You finished tied for 27
th just one shot back of Schroedl at +15. You shot a +7 on day one with one birdie and 10 pars. Round two got off to a strong start for You with a birdie on one, but bogeys on two and three and then triple-bogey on five put her behind the curve. A birdie on eight steadied the round for You and she finished the day at +8.

st and
Katrina Cabinian finished tied for 87
th to round things out for FDU.
FDU will next compete in the Howard Bison Invitational next week on April 10-11 at Baltimore Country Club.
