Reigning NEC Champion Women’s Golf Returns for Spring Action

HACKENSACK, N.J.- FDU women's golf returns this March for their spring campaign. Last spring, the Knights emerged atop the NEC, their tenth in program history.

"I'd say both programs are playing a highly competitive tournament schedule all spring long in the hopes that it will continue to push and prepare them for the championship in April, which is our ultimate goal," noted Director of Golf Rob Warren.

The spring begins in South Carolina, where the squad plays at the Annika- More than Golf Invitational. From March 1-3, the team plays three rounds in their initial outing.

At the end of March, the squad travels to North Carolina, for the City of Oaks Intercollegiate, hosted by NC State. Their trip to the Carolinas continues the following week, with three more rounds at the Golfweek Intercollegiate. The squad plays three more rounds from April 6-8.

FDU makes their return to New Jersey for the Rutgers Invitational, where the team plays for two days in Piscataway on April 11 and 12.

The Knights compete in the NEC Championships from April 17-19 in Ellicott City Md.
