BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- Kashika Misra was named this week's NEC Women's Golfer of the Week. The freshman is on the heels of a strong performance at the City of Oaks Collegiate. The announcement marks the first Golfer of the Week award in Misra's career.  

Misra finished in a tie for 14th place at the invitational. She shot par in the second of three rounds, where she also shot even in 10 consecutive holes. Across the three rounds, Misra also racked up four birdies, recording at least one on each day. 

Misra and the rest of FDU Women's Golf compete at the Golfweek Intercollegiate starting on April 6.
