HACKENSACK, N.J. - In front of student-athletes, coaches, department staff, media members and University faculty and staff, FDU Director of Athletics
Bradford Hurlbut formally introduced
Jack Castleberry as the next leader of the Knights' men's basketball program.
Hurlbut was joined by University Interim President Michael Avaltroni and Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs
Jason Young to make the announcement. During the event at Stratis Arena inside the Rothman Center, Avaltroni and Hurlbut celebrated the historic campaign that concluded with a magical Cinderella run in the NCAA tournament, advancing to the round of 32. Making his inaugural remarks as the men's basketball head coach, Castleberry outlined his vision for FDU basketball, vowing to continue providing a high-intensity, fast-paced style of play national audiences have become accustomed to by way of FDU's run in the Big Dance.
