CHARLESTON, S.C.- The FDU women's golf team finished 17th with a cumulative score of 912 at the Rivertowne Invitational that concluded on Tuesday. It was the team's first action of 2023.

Anete Adul shined for the Knights with steady golf all week long. Her scores of 71, 75, and 70 were good enough for her to shoot even on the tournament and finish tied for seventh place. This was the highest finish of her career. She made eight birdies throughout the week. During the final round, Adul provided the highlight of the entire invitational with an ace on hole 17. This was the second hole-in-one of her career.

The team's best day of action came in round one when they fired a 297, which put them in 11th place. However, scores of 310 and 305 over the final two rounds dropped them on the leaderboard. The team recorded 29 birdies on the week.
