NW BRITAIN, CONN. – The FDU Knights (17-5, 8-1) will take on Central Connecticut (7-15, 3-7) this Saturday afternoon at Detrick Gymnasium. This conference battle will take place at 1 p.m. and Knights fans can watch the game on NEC Front Row.
The Knights and Sharks battled closely through the first 10 minutes of play; LIU even had an 18-15 lead heading into the second quarter. Despite the slow start, the Knights pounced on the Sharks in the middle quarters outscoring them 44-13 and taking a 59-31 lead into the final frame of play. Junior
Chloe Wilson led the Knights with a dominating performance; she tabbed 20 points and five rebounds in 27 minutes of play. Wilson picked up 10 points in the third quarter which ended up putting the Sharks' deficit too far out of reach. Pittsburgh native

Ella Fajardo both notched double-digit points; DeAngelo with 12 and Fajardo knocking down 10 points off the pine. The pair shot 10-for-21 from the field and combined for 12 rebounds on the night.
Angelika Szumilo's squad forced 22 turnovers and scored 17 points off those takeaways. FDU was resilient all-night notching 23 second-chance points compared to only seven from the Sharks.
- Wilson leads the Knights with 15.5 points a night and 6.5 rebounds. She has picked up four double-doubles on the season
- Senior DeAngelo has had a solid season scoring 11.7 points a night on a team-leading 46.9% shooting from the field
- Forgues has entered double-digit point scoring on the season averaging 10.1 points a contest
- CCSU is 7-15 on the season and has picked up three wins in conference play
- Sophomore guard, Belle Lanoher is a player to watch for the Blue Devils. She is scoring 13.3 points a night on 47.9% shooting from the field
