Lisa Warfvinge goes for gold in the long jump at the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Lisa Warfvinge took home the gold with a mark of 5.40m in the long jump on Day 1 of the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships.

How it Happened

  • Lisa Warfvinge came in first with a mark of 5.40m in the long jump on her fourth attempt. Warfvinge also currently holds the number one spot for long jump in the NEC. 

  • With a mark of 5.24m, Dominyka Leskauskaite finished in fifth in long jump.

  • Rookie Chloe Lucas placed first in the Women's 400m dash preliminaries with a time of 56.50.  Lucas finished a whole 1.64 seconds ahead of the second place finish.

  • With a mark of 8.97, Aquila St. Louis took first in the 60m hurdles preliminaries.  Not far behind with a mark of 9.15, Shaunelle Riley had a fifth place finish.
