PHILADELPHIA - After beginning the season 2-1, the Knights look to snap their recent rough stretch as the FDU men's basketball hits the road to the Philadelphia for their third game since 2021 in the City of Brotherly Love. FDU (3-6, 0-0 NEC) will face Saint Joseph's on Saturday, December 3 at 1 p.m. live on ESPN+ at Hagan Arena on Hawk Hill.

The Hawks (3-3, 0-0 A-10) come into Saturday's tilt with a 2-1 series advantage over the Knights, though FDU bested Saint Joseph's 58-57 in the last meeting which took place on November 14, 2014) Saint Joseph's' Erik Reynolds II was selected to the A-10 Preseason Third Team All-Conference and currently averages 12.1 points per game - third for third on the Hawks squad. Reynolds currently holds the edge in nearly every offensive category for today's foe.

FDU has hit a slump since toppling VMI in Farmville, VA. with FDU now 0-3 since that contest. Tobin Anderson's Knights fell to Pitt, Saint Peter's and Hartford in the lead-up to Saturday's battle with the Hawks. Last time out, FDU nearly emptied the bench with one of the youngest teams in college basketball using a 10-man lineup led by graduate student guard Grant Singleton's 19 points. Sophomore big Ansley Almonor and fifth-year Demetre Roberts would have their moments of key plays but FDU didn't gel and fell to Hartford on Wednesday, 74-66 - the third-straight defeat for the Burgundy and Blue.
