NEWARK, N.J. – The FDU Knights (5-2, 0-0) travel to Newark, N.J. to take on Jersey foe NJIT (4-3, 0-0). The teams will battle on Wednesday, November 30 at NJIT's Wellness & Events Center. The Knights are 11-4 all-time versus the Highlanders and have won the last six contests that these teams have faced off in. FDU is coming off a dominant 41-point victory over UMES on Sunday and will be looking to continue their winning ways.
The Knights picked up a dominant win over the UMES Hawks. The Knights won 82-41 where they held the Hawks to 25.8% shooting from the field. The Knights were backed by a career night from
Sierra DeAngelo who put up 23 points and five rebounds in the contest. The Burgundy and Blue shot nearly 50% from the field hitting 30-of-61 shots they attempted, making a season-high 11 three-pointers. The story of the game was turning defense into an offense where the Knights scored 22 points off UMES turnovers. Freshman
Eniya Scott made her season debut where she pitched in nine points off the bench.

Ella Fajardo all added double-figure scoring to help take down the Hawks.
- Junior Wilson is coming off being named NEC Player of the Week for the second straight week. She is leading the Knights with 15 points per game and six rebounds a night.
- DeAngelo exploded for 23 points last time out versus UMES.
- Freshman Scott made her season debut on Sunday and added nine points on 50% shooting.
- NJIT went 15-15 in the 2021-22 season including 9-8 in America East play.
- The Highlanders have started the season off going 4-3 with three wins coming against NEC teams.
- A player to watch for NJIT is junior Lyzi Litwinko who is putting up 11.4 points a night and 6.3 rebounds.
