WALLINGFORD, CONN. - The FDU women's golf team placed second at the Quinnipiac Classic hosted by Quinnipiac at The Farms Country Club (Par 72 - 6163 Yards). Senior Victoria Schroedl led the Knights with a three-round score of 230, she placed in the top 3 of the classic. The Knights also saw top-10 finishes from Kaitlyn You and Apichaya Chirakunakorn. The Burgundy and Blue's second-place finish saw the team shoot a 934 and was the best finish of the season for the Knights.

- Senior Schroedl posted a team best 75 during the final round and led the team with a three-round score of 230
- The Knights recorded 27 birdies over the course of the three rounds
- Schroedl shot for par on eight of the first nine holes on day two of the classic
- Sacred Heart took home the team win
- Kaylee Sakoda of Quinnipiac took home the individual win
The Knights will travel to Bethlehem Pa. on Oct. 24 to wrap up their season and compete in the Lehigh Invitational.
