Women’s Golf Completes Round One at NCAA Louisville Regional

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's golf team carded a first round score of 314 at the 2021 NCAA Louisville Regional on Monday afternoon. Sophomore Victoria Schroedl leads the Knights with a score of 73 (+1) at the University of Louisville Golf Club (par 72, 6,289 yds.) in Simpsonville, Ky.

  • Sophomore Victoria Schroedl recorded a team-best 73 (+1) on the opening day of competition and currently sits only five strokes out of first place.
  • Senior Nicola Smith continues to improve on the season, shooting a first round score of 77 (+5) in Simpsonville.
  • Every Knight recorded at least one birdie on the par 72, 6,289 yd. course.
  • Florida State currently claims the first place position after carding a first round score of 286, UCLA and Michigan State round out the top three.
  • Florida State's Amelia Williamson and UCLA's Emilie Paltrinieria sit tied for first overall with a one-day total of 68 (-4).
The Knights will tee-off on hole 10 Tuesday morning starting at 9:50 AM.
