Merrimack (2-1-1, 2-1-1 NEC) heads to Teaneck for the first time on Monday. The Warriors have not won in their last two fixtures, falling to CCSU on March 15, 2-1, and battling to a 1-1 draw in 2OT against LIU on March 22. Merrimack, picked first in the NEC Preseason Poll, went a perfect 9-0 during the 2019 season, their first in NCAA Division I and in the NEC.

FDU (2-3-0, 2-1-0 NEC) was selected to finish second in the NEC Preseason Poll after a 2019 season in which the Burgundy and Blue won the NEC Tournament championship and advance to the NCAA tournament. The Knights opened the 2020-21 season with back-to-back 2-0 losses on the road against Fordham and Seton Hall before opening NEC play with a 1-0 road win at Sacred Heart on March 1. Freshman

Jeremy Opong scored the game-winner in the 95. The Burgundy and Blue head home coming off a 3-0 loss at CCSU on March 22.
