HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's golf team announced its 2021 schedule Friday afternoon.
FDU will participate in six tournaments this spring before concluding the season at the NEC Championships on April 16-18 in Fayetteville, Pa.
"Everyone is excited to be playing. Even though it's not the typical spring schedule and everything is jammed into just a few weeks, it's the same for the whole region so no excuses. I expect my team to be prepared and hopefully peaking as usual at conference time," said head coach
Rob Warren. "The women have one goal in mind and that's winning another championship. We're ready for the snow to melt and to get going but we have the tools to develop our game indoors as well. The main thing is just being very cautious and staying healthy."
The Knights open up the season vs. Monmouth on March 8 in Neptune, N.J. at the Jumping Brook Country Club.
After hosting the Knights Shootout on March 14 at the Watchung Valley Country Club, FDU faces Monmouth for a rematch on March 29.
The Burgundy and Blue then host the FDU Invitational on April 2-3 at the Penn National Golf Club.
The Knights close out the season at the Hartford Hawks Invitational on April 9 and the Sacred Heart Invitational on April 11-12 before heading to Fayetteville, Pa. for the NEC Championships.
