Scouting the Knights
The Knights were selected first in this season's NEC Preseason Poll, their second time earning the designation in the Greg Herenda era. Jahlil Jenkins, an All-NEC Second Team honoree a season ago and classmate Elyjah Williams were each named to the All-NEC Preseason Team. The Knights are coming off a campaign in which they averaged 72.2 points per game and shot 45.2 percent from the floor. As has been the case throughout Herenda's eight seasons at the helm, the Knights featured a balanced attack with four players averaging 10.0 or more points per game.

Freshman guard Joe Munden Jr. picked up NEC Rookie of the Week honors on Monday, joining classmate Pier-Olivier Racine, who took home the award in week one.

Coach Herenda's Thoughts Following Saturday's Loss at Providence
"What can I say – this team continues to get better every day. It has been 10 days since our opener and it seems like a lifetime ago. We have played some very good teams and this group continues to answer the challenge but getting over the top and winning will come."

What's Next
The Burgundy and Blue host Central Connecticut State in game two of the two-game series on Wednesday, December 9, at 4:00 p.m. live on NEC Front Row. Spectators will not be permitted to attend home basketball contests throughout the 2020-21 season.
