WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The 5-1 Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team heads to Howard on Tuesday night in Washington D.C. Game time is 7 p.m. inside Burr Gym.

Tuesday will be the eighth meeting between Fairleigh Dickinson and Howard. The Bison have won the last two meetings -- last year and back in 2011-12. The Knights last won back in the 2010-11 campaign in Washinton D.C. 45-44. Fairleigh Dickinson is 2-0 inside Burr Gym.
LAST TIME OUT
Fairleigh Dickinson got a career-high 27 points from Madelynn Comly and won 72-52 at Longwood on Sunday afternoon. The Knights went 10-of-20 from 3-point range and 14-of-17 from the free throw line -- including 10-12 in the final quarter. Lauren Francillon added nine points and three blocks off the bench. Amina Markovic recorded a career-high five steals and added seven points. FDU outscored Longwood 42-29 over the third and fourth quarters.
ABOUT HOWARD
The Bison are 0-5 to start the season and are coming off a loss to Siena on Saturday, 72-61. Howard's last four games have all been away from home. The Bison opened the season with a home loss to William & Mary, 83-71. Sarah Edmond leads the team in scoring at 10 a game. Edmond had 22 points on Saturday at Siena. Curstyn Moore is second on the team at 9.6 points per contest. Moore is the leading rebounder for Howard, pulling down close to six a game. Edmond and Ayonna Williams both average over two assists per game.

NEC AWARDS
Freshman Kamrin Weimer was named NEC Rookie of the Week after averaging 11.5 points and shooting 50% from 3-point range last week. The Maryland native had a career-high 17 against Colgate the day before Thanksgiving.
