FARMVILLE, Va. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team ventures out of the state of New Jersey for the first time this season for a Sunday matinee against Longwood. Tip time is 12 p.m. in Farmville, Virginia.

Fairleigh Dickinson is 4-1 start to a season for the first time since 1996-97.
Sunday will be FDU's first game in the state of Virginia since playing at the University of Virginia back in the 2007-08 season.

LAST TIME OUT
Fairleigh Dickinson got a career-high 17 points from Kamrin Weimer to beat Colgate, 61-51, on Wednesday. Fifteen of Weimer's 17 came from behind the 3-point line. As a team, the Knights shot 46% from three compared to Colgate's 12%. FDU also held an advantage from the free throw line where they went 16-of-25 when Colgate was 9-of-13. Lauren Francillon grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds and chipped in nine points off the bench.
ABOUT LONGWOOD
The Lancers sit at 1-2 on the year and are coming off an 84-82 win over UMass Lowell on Saturday, November 18. The win snapped a two-game slide to start the season against Marshall and North Carolina Central. Longwood finished last season at 4-25 and 1-17 in Big South play. Kristina Antonenko leads the team in scoring at 18 a game. Autumn Childress also averages over 10 points per game at 13.7. Childress is the leading rebounder for the Lancers at 9.0 per contest. Micaela Ellis hands out 3.7 assists each game.
DEFENSE to OFFENSE
FDU had 16 points off 15 Colgate turnovers on Wednesday. The Knights have had at least 10 points off opposition turnovers in all five games this season.

The Knights have led at the intermission of each of their four wins. FDU is 52 scoring the first half this season and 32 in the second quarter specifically.
