HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer will make their home debut of 2016 on Thursday night when they host Stony Brook at University Stadium. The Knights then head to Fort Myers, Florida to battle the Eagle of Florida Gulf Coast.

LAST TIME OUT
The Knights fell to Army West Point 4-1 on Sunday afternoon up in West Point, New York. The Black Knights scored three goals in the first half to secure the win. Tara Heatley (Warwick N.Y./Warwick Valley) converted a penalty kick late in the second half for Fairleigh Dickinson.

SERIES SCORE
Stony Brook and Fairleigh Dickinson have twice previously on the pitch. The Seawolves have won both prior meetings – 6-0 in 2013 and 3-0 in 2015. This will be the first time that Stony Brook will visit University Stadium. Florida Gulf Coast represents the third first-time opponent the Knights will face this season. The other two were Colgate and Dartmouth.

SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES
Stony Brook comes into the matchup on Thursday at 3-5-2 on the season and winners of two straight. Raven Edwards leads the offense with five points (2G, 1A) so far this season. Manuela Corcho has also scored twice. In goal for the Seawolves, Cara Gallagher and Shannon Robinson have split time in goal. Gallagher has a 3-2-1 record with a .85 GAA with three shutouts. Robinson is 0-3-1 with a 2.03 GAA.
 
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Florida Gulf Coast will play Stetson in an Atlantic Sun Conference matchup on Friday before taking on Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday afternoon. Currently, the Eagles sit at 5-4 and have won back-to-back contests against Liberty (1-0) and St. Bonaventure (2-0). Tabby Tindell leads the squad in goals (6) and points (14) through nine games. Ali Rogers is second with two goals and five points in 2016.

CAREER FIRSTS
Junior, Tara Heatley (Warwick N.Y./Warwick Valley) scored her first point and goal on Sunday at Army West Point via a penalty kick. It was Knights' second PK conversion of the season.
