Women's Basketball Closes Regular Season at Bryant Monday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Fairleigh Dickinson will try to end the regular season with a win on Monday night at Bryant. The Knights have already clinched a spot in the NEC Tournament but their seed has yet to be determined. 

OPENING TIP
FDU looks to finish at .500 in NEC for first time since the 2008-09 season. 

SERIES SCORE
FDU is 4-9 all-time against Bryant. All 13 meetings have come since the Bulldogs moved to D1 for the 2008-09 season. Bryant has won the last six meetings. The Knights last win against the Bulldogs came in Smithfield back in 2011-2012, 54-43.  

LAST TIME OUT
Central Connecticut used multple small scoring runs to beat FDU 71-59. FDU shot 2-of-12 from three and had only nine assists. The Knights were held scoreless for more than three minutes twice in the first half and the final three minutes of the game. 

SCOUTING BRYANT
Bryant sits at 16-12 overall and 13-4 in the Northeast Conference. The Bulldogs will be the second seed in next week's NEC Tournament. Bryant is 3-2 in its last five game and have alternated wins and losses in that span. Three Bulldogs average at least 10 points, led by Breanna Rucker at 15.4 per contest. Rucker also leads the team on the glass at 11.0 per game. Kierra Palmer leads the team in assists with 3.8 --  two other Bulldogs are over two per game.
