LIVE VIDEOMORGANTOWN, W. Va. - Fairleigh Dickinson concludes the weekend with a Sunday date with West Virginia in Morgantown, West Virginia at 4 p.m. The Knights dropped a 72-62 decision at Bucknell on Friday night to fall to 1-5 on the season.
The Mountaineers come in with 5-2 record and won three straight, all by double digits. Bria Holmes averages 19.9 points to lead West Virginia. Teanna Muldrow averages 11.4 points for second on the team. Lanay Montgomery paces the Mountaineers in rebounding at 8.6 per game.
OPENING TIPThe Knights will play their final road game prior to an eight-game homestand at West Virginia on Sunday.
SERIES SCOREFDU and WVU have two prior times with WVU winning each. Both meetings have come in the last two seasons. WVU won in Teaneck a season ago, 80-52.
LAST TIME OUTFDU lead by nine at halftime against Bucknell but was outscored 45-26 in the second half to suffer a 72-62 road loss. The Knights lead by nine at the half and shot 50% from the field in the opening two quarters.
