HACKENSACK, N.J. - The FDU Knights welcome the FDU Devils to Stratis Arena for the 2015 Home Opener on Monday, November 16. Fairleigh Dickinson University has campuses around the world, including two in New Jersey. The Metropolitan Campus competes in NCAA Division I, while the Florham Campus plays NCAA Division III athletics. Last season, the Knights defeated the Devils, 102-61.

Series History: The Knights hold a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series between these programs. Last season, Metro won 102-61 behind five players with double figure points, including
Darian Anderson (Washington, D.C./St. John's College ) with 18 and
Marques Townes (Edison, N.J./St. Joseph (Metuchen)) with 14. The Knights shot 55.9% (38-of-68) and 55.6% (15-of-27) from beyond the arc. The only other meeting came in 1993, a 73-67 victory for the Knights.
Last Time Out: The Knights opened the 2015-16 season at #11/9 Villanova last Friday night. The Wildcats earned a 91-54 victory behind a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double from Daniel Ochefu. FDU was led by 21 points from sophomore
Darian Anderson (Washington, D.C./St. John's College ). Anderson was 8-of-16 from the floor and five-of-eight from behind the arc in 36 minutes of action.
Coach G on the Villanova Game: "We played a team that was playing at a different level tonight. Villanova plays a great brand of basketball - they guard well rebound great and are so efficient offensively. This game will prove beneficial to us in the future. For our guys to play in this kind of environment, against a top ten team is a special experience. It hurts tonight but it will help us over the long haul."

Greg Herenda enters his third season at FDU with a new-look roster that features 11 freshmen and sophomores among the 13 student-athletes. A pair of redshirt juniors rank as the oldest players on a roster that does not feature a senior.
First Collegiate Game: Every FDU player saw action at Villanova, including all six freshmen playing in their first collegiate game.
Mike Holloway (Pittsgrove, N.J./Arthur P. Schalick ) started and played 22 minutes,
Darnell Edge (Saugerties, N.Y./Saugerties) played 15 minutes,
Ghassan Nehme (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) 11 minutes,
Malik Miller (Troy, N.Y./Catholic Central ) seven,
DaRon Curry (Deptford, N.J./Phelps School) four and
Dondre Rhoden (Ridgefield Park, N.J./Ridgefield Park / Putnam Science Academy) four. Edge (4 points), Miller (3 points) and Holloway (2 points) also scored their first collegiate points.
