TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team (4-2-0) returns home to University Stadium for a Friday night contest against Monmouth (3-2-0). The match, scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m., will be broadcast live on NEC Front Row.
 
Last Time Out
The Knights dropped their second game of the season, and first since Aug. 24, with a 2-1 loss at Columbia on Tuesday night. Reigning Northeast Conference Player of the Week Rachel Hoekstra (Bowmanville, Ontario/Clarington Central ) scored the lone goal, her fourth of the campaign. The strike was the redshirt sophomore's 13th of her career, moving her to sixth-most in program history.

What You Need To Know: The Hawks entered the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference prior to last season and promptly went 17-2-2 en route to a conference championship. Monmouth returns six all-conference selections, including last year's Rookie of the Year Alexis McTamney, who led the team with 11 goals. McTamney and the Hawks have now won back-to-back road matches, at Seton Hall and NJIT, without conceding a goal. Senior back Alexa Freguletti paces her team with three goals.
