HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball open up the home portion of its 2014-15 schedule on Wednesday night, Nov. 19, against NJIT at Stratis Arena. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. and NEC Front Row will carry a live video broadcast.

Last Time Out
The Knights picked up their first road victory since 2012 when they defeated Manhattan in Riverdale, N.Y. by a score of 73-54. It was also the largest margin of victory since a 37-point victory over Wagner in 2012. Erika Livermore (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area), after sitting out the entire 2013-14 season due to injury, returned with a statement game of 22 points (on 8-of-18 shooting) and 16 rebounds to go along with a pair of blocks and a steal, and deservedly was named the Northeast Conference's Player of the Week. Four other FDU players joined Livermore in double-digit scoring, including Valerie Oyakhilome (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) and Brianna Thomas (Baldwin, N.Y./St. John the Baptist Diocesan), both of whom scoring all of their 14 points in the second half. Senior point guard Amanda Andrades (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) added 13 points, five rebounds, five assists, and a game-high four steals while playing every minute.
