BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team lost its regular-season finale to Division II powerhouse Concordia, 8-1, on Tuesday. Division II plays doubles as one point each instead of the traditional one doubles' point. With the victory, the Clippers, who are ranked No. 10 in Division II, improve to 15-2 on the season, while the Knights fall to 6-7 overall.

In singles action, the lone winner for FDU was Gricheno as No. 3, as he defeated Tisserhand, 6-2, 6-3. Hemy lost in three sets at No. 4 to Tomasz Olfans, 7-5, 6-7 (5), 10-5, while freshman
Markus Sjoberg (Tyreso, Sweden/Varmdo Gymnasium) also lost in three sets to Juuso Ojanen at No. 6, 6-0, 2-6, 6-2. The Clippers had the No. 10 and No. 14 ranked players in the nation at No. 1 and No. 2.
The Knights will return to action on Friday, April 19 when they begin Northeast Conference Tournament play against the winner of the Sacred Heart/Wagner match. FDU, who is the No. 2 seed, will play its match sometime after 11:30 a.m.
