BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Fairleigh Dickinson men's cross country standout Darrel Gooding (Somerset, N.J./Franklin Township) competed at Friday's NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, hosted by Lehigh, on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.

Gooding, who was running in only the second 10K race of his career and first the year, shined for the Knights, as he finished in 26th place in a field of 179 runners. The All-Northeast Conference performer concluded the course in 30:49, one minute and 12 seconds behind the winning time.

Gooding trimmed one minute and 10 seconds off his time from last year's race, which he finished in 55th place as a freshman.
