The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's basketball team will travel to New Haven, CT to take on the Bulldogs of Ivy League Yale on Monday, December 6. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm. The Knights will look to even their record with a win on the road while the Bulldogs are looking to snap a five-game losing streak. The Knights are currently 3-4 while Yale is 1-5.
The Bulldogs began the 10-11 campaign with four returning starters seven returning letterwinners from a 13-15 2009-10 season. They were tabbled fourth in the Ivy League preseason poll and began their season with a strong win at Holy Cross on November 12th. After the first win the Bulldogs fell into a slump and subsequently a five-game losing streak.
This will be the third time the Knights have faced the Bulldogs since 2002. FDU has won both previous outings, the most recent on December 31, 2003. The score was 78-69.
The Knights return to the Rothman Center on Thursday December 9 to open Northeast Conference play. FDU hosts Bryant University in a 7:00 pm game.
