Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis freshman Moric Budinszky advanced to the Flight A finals at the Hofstra Invitational last weekend.

Making his collegiate debut, Budinszky came away with the victory to move on to the quarterfinals by defeating Piotr Sinkowski of Saint Peter's 5-7, 7-5, 10-2. 

Then in the quarterfinals, the Budapest, Hungary native defeated Andres Jacome of Saint Peter's 8-5 to advance to the semifinals. Later on in the semifinals, Budinszky topped Anatoliy Lashkul of Wagner 9-7 to advance to the final round where he battled in a 9-7 loss to  Jan Leithner of Hofstra.
