Sophomore Darrel Gooding established a new personal record in the mile with a time of 4:20.34 at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships on Friday, Jan. 31. His effort was good enough for second place (out of 20) and gave the Knights eight points. He was also part of the 4,000 meter distance medley that finished in first place out of 10 with a time of 10:12.15, which tallied 10 points. Their time is is 12th in the IC4A and first overall in the NEC.
