Box Score UNION, N.J. - FDU Baseball (4-6, 2-1 NEC) took the third and final game in their series with the Wagner Seahawks (2-10, 1-2 NEC) on Sunday afternoon at Jim Hynes '63 Stadium. FDU's victory was highlighted by a two out game-tying home run from catcher
Nick Quagliato which tied the game, and then the Knights were able to send the game to an extra inning, where FDU won in the 10th frame.
FDU started out the game down by three runs after Wagner scored three in their first turn at bat after Knights starter

Jimmy Mantuano on a sacrifice fly in the third inning.
Diego Urreta collected a pair of RBI groundouts, one in the third inning, and one in the fifth inning to tie the game for the Knights.
Wagner scored one run in both the fifth and the sixth inning, as the Seahawks cashed in on an RBI walk in the fifth frame, and then an RBI single in the sixth. The Knights answered in the seventh inning, as Mantuano drew a bases loaded walk to cut the Wagner lead to just a run.
The Seahawks added a run in the eighth inning by way of a sacrifice fly, to make the score 6-4 heading into the top of the ninth inning. With two outs in the top half of the ninth inning, Knights first baseman
Jeremy Cheeseman knocked a single up the middle to keep the game going for another batter, which brought Quagliato to the dish as the Knights last hope.
Quagliato got in front of the Seahawk pitcher in the count 2-0, and then proceeded to hit a deep home run that cleared the 385 foot wall in left center field. The long ball marked the first of the season for the Knights backstop, and it came in the most opportune moment for the burgundy and blue.
The Knights then turned the game over to late inning reliever
Nick Noble, who shut the door on the Seahawks in the bottom half of the ninth, send the game to extra innings. FDU jumped on Wagner pitcher Braden Lowe as
Johnathan Gomez scored
Jeremy Delamota on an RBI single, where Gomez advanced to second on the throw to the plate that was not in time to get Delamota.
Diego Urreta added another run in the 10th, as he scored Gomez on an RBI single to make the game 8-6 heading into the bottom of the tenth inning. Noble then recorded three more outs to pick up his second win of the season for FDU, and the Knights took their first series of NEC play from rival Wagner, winning the Friday and Sunday games of the three game set.
FDU will return home to Naimoli Family Baseball Complex, where the Knights will host 10 games in the a span of 12 days, all within the friendly confines of Naimoli Family Baseball Complex. The home stand opens with a midweek matchup with the Manhattan Jaspers on Tuesday afternoon, with first pitch set for 3 p.m.
