BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- Middle blocker
Rayjan Suarez Palacios has earned back-to-back NEC Defensive Player of the Week awards. FDU is coming off another 2-0 weekend after a pair of sweeps at D'Youville, propelling them to a 10-9 overall record, 4-2 in Conference play.
Suarez Palacios totaled 10 blocks over the weekend, including a pair of solo blocks on March 28. The junior added two digs and a season high two aces the day before, on March, 27. Offensively, he added 7 kills, propelling the Knights to four straight NEC victories.
He is joined this week by fellow prime performers
Jamal Ellis and
Laydon Biro. The Knights return home for a pair of weekend matches against Daemen. The first match is April 3, at 6 p.m.
