SNOW HILL, N.C. - The Knights showed major improvements at the 2026 Cutter Creek Invitational at Cutter Creek GC, finishing 5th out of 14 teams. The strong showing was highlighted by the opening round of 287 (-1), the first under par team round of the season.
Ranveer Dhupia led the team in scoring with a 3 round total of +3, which was good enough to secure him a tied 16th finish. After beginning the week with a 75 (+3), the freshman showed composure beyond his years to be level par for the next 2 rounds. Dhupia also displayed his potential ability to go low in the future by recording 12 birdies across the tournament.
Fellow freshman Shreyas Semanthy was next for the Knights this week, finishing on +4 and tied for 20th. The young Englishman came out flying with a 68 (-4) in round 1, featuring a flawless -4 back nine with 4 birdies and 5 pars.
Junior William McKernan put on a consistent performance at Cutter Creek GC, notching rounds of 73, 74, 74 to end on +5. This was good enough to earn him a tied 24th place finish. Aside from the blustery 2nd round, steady scoring was the theme of the week for McKernan, making 27 pars across rounds 1 and 3.
