BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- FDU's Jamal Ellis and Rayjan Suarez Palacios highlight dominant weekend for the men's volleyball squad. Ellis earned Player of the Week honors, while Suarez Palacios was awarded Defensive Player of the Week. The Knights are coming off a sweep of LIU over the weekend, improving their NEC record to 2-2. 

Ellis tallied 44 kills through the two games, totaling 56 combined points. The opposite hitter additionally recorded a career best 8 service aces on March 20. Suarez Palacios logged two solo blocks and nine blocking assists through both games at LIU, alongside four digs. The middle blocker further contributed offensively, adding 11 kills in each match. 

This is the first weekly award for both Knights, who are joined as prime performers by Baboloki Silwane.
