MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - FDU Track and Field opened their outdoor slate at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational under the sunny skies of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Tata Coulibaly won the Women's Hammer Throw,
Ethan Ruffin won the Men's High Jump, and
Myles Taylor won the Open Men's High Jump.
Coulibaly once again proves to be the queen of the Women's Hammer Throw, as she took home her first Hammer Throw crown in her first appearance outdoors. Coulibaly threw a distance of 51.56 meters, keeping her momentum from the indoor season rolling. Once again right behind Coulibaly was

Another Knight that carried the momentum from the indoor season was the NEC's Indoor High Jump Champion
Ethan Ruffin, as Ruffin took his winning ways outside, winning the Men's Collegiate High Jump with a season high jump of 2.17 meters.
Myles Taylor was another Knight that soared to new heights, as he won the Men's Open High Jump with an impressive leap of 1.98 meters, which marked a new personal best for Taylor. Another Knight that set a new personal best was distance runner
Kidus Zeleke, who grinded out a third place finish in a competitive Men's 10k, as Zeleke crossed the finish line in 32:55.56.
