BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- FDU sophomore outside hitter
Laydon Biro was named the NEC's Player of the Week for the first time in his career, per a conference release Tuesday afternoon. He is the first men's volleyball player to earn a player of the week award for the Knights this season.
The award comes on the heels of a career week for Biro. The sophomore posted a career high 19 kills and 20 points in the team's victory over St. Thomas Aquinas Jan 28. In FDU's most recent outing at NJIT, Biro laid down a team best 13 kills.
Biro and the Knights retake the court on Feb. 7, when they host AIC. The contest begins at 7 p.m.
