ROCHESTER, N.Y.- FDU men's volleyball (0-2) dropped their first of two games at Roberts Wesleyan on Jan. 19. Rayjan Suarez Palacios continues his electric start to the season with a team leading 9.5 points and a quartet of blocks.
The Knights leaped out to a 4-1 lead, with two kills from Vinil Shah. Multiple four-point runs by the Redhawks proved too much for FDU to overcome, as the Knights fell 25-15.
Once again the Knights were off to a 6-2 lead in the second set. The effort was sprung by a kill from Andrew Michael to put the Knights on the board.
A block by Suarez Palacios and Dylan McFadden was followed by a kill from Shah to reassert the Knights with an 11-8 advantage. Roberts Wesleyan would once again string together extended runs to take the set 25-20.
