Knights Split Opening Weekend of NEC Play

ERIE, Pa. — The Knights encountered rough waters in Saturday's matchup with Mercyhurst. After being swept Friday evening, the Lakers anchored down on their home court, defeating the Knights 3-1, 25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-22.

Set 1:

The opening set saw the Lakers charting big plays against the Knights, steering ahead for the majority of the set. FDU weathered the storm, fending off five set points, but Mercyhurst anchored down their block to secure set one, 25-23.
