Nott Makes Waves in Erie, Knights Dock First NEC Win

ERIE, Pa. — There's something about FDU's Kylie Nott. The senior middle blocker led the Knights to a 3-0 sweep over Mercyhurst Friday evening, 25-21, 25-20, 25-21.

Nott dominated with 16 kills and 3 blocks, hitting an impressive .682. Alongside her, Isabella Scarfone and Kyndal Ganoe delivered standout performances in FDU's first NEC win of the season. Scarfone posted 22 assists and 13 digs, recording her sixth double-double of the season, while Ganoe anchored the defense with 13 digs.

Set 1:

The Knights set the tone early with their senior leaders. Nott tallied 5 kills, hitting .833 while Giorgia Vaschetti added 4 kills to propel the Knights to take set one, 25-21.

Set 2:

The Lakers traded points early, but a string of errors and four-point run fueled by Nott and Vaschetti gave the Knights their largest lead, 20-14. A Lakers service error clinched the second set for FDU, 25-20.

Set 3:

It was all Knights in set three. Scarfone continued to feed the hot-hand, with Nott adding seven more kills. Late in the set, Nihal Kocakara entered and sealed the deal with a final kill, 25-21.
