HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball released their 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
FDU will look to defend their 2024-25 NEC Championship during a 31-game slate. The Knights are coming off of the most successful season in program history. The Knights went 29-4 last season, shattering the program record for wins en route to their first NEC Championship since 1991-92. The season also culminated in FDU's first ever trip to March Madness, where the #15-seeded Knights lost to #2 TCU.
The Knights will start off the 2025-26 season with an exhibition matchup on October 31, as they will play host to Villanova in Hackensack. The regular season will officially start with a two-game swing to the state of Indiana. The Knights will face Purdue in West Lafayette on November 3, followed by a matchup at Notre Dame on November 5.
FDU will defend home turf for the first time on November 10, when they host Bloomfield. The Knights ride a 16-game home winning streak into the season, after they went 15-0 in Hackensack in 2024-25.
The Knights will have another marquee non-conference matchup on November 16, when they travel to face Rutgers for the second season in a row. Several New Jersey rivals will also face off during the non-conference slate, as FDU will play host to Monmouth on November 29, in addition to trips to NJIT (11/25) and Saint Peter's (12/10).
FDU will wrap their non-conference schedule at the end of December, when they host the FDU Christmas Classic for the second season in a row. The Knights will play Binghamton on December 29, followed by Penn on December 30, both in Hackensack.
The conference schedule begins at the turn of the new year, where FDU will travel to face Mercyhurst and Saint Francis in a Pennsyvlania road trip. The Knights will be road-tested to start the conference slate, playing five of their first six NEC contests on the road.
The NEC's newest member will face off against the Knights for the first time on January 10, when New Haven will travel to Hackensack for FDU's conference home opener.
Saint Francis will face off against FDU in Hackensack on March 5 to end the regular season.
