Brown, Renninger Named to All-Met Teams

NEW YORK – FDU's Teneisia Brown and Ava Renninger were each named to All-Met Basketball Writers Association Teams on Tuesday morning. Brown was selected to the All-Met First Team, and Renninger was selected to the All-Met Third Team.

Brown picks up the honor following an utterly dominant season in Hackensack. She helped lead the Knights to their best record in program history, with a program-record 29 wins. Brown averaged 15.1 PPG and 9.7 RPG throughout the season to help lead the way for FDU. Her season was highlighted by a monstrous 34-point performance in the 2025 NEC Championship. The career-high mark for Brown helped the Knights pick up their second NEC title in program history.

At the conclusion of the season, Brown was also named to the All-NEC First Team, the NEC All-Defensive Team, and was named NEC Defensive Player of the Year.

Joining Brown with All-Met honors was Ava Renninger on the third team. Renninger wrapped up her 2024-25 season with one of the most impressive freshman campaigns in NEC history. Renninger averaged 13.8 PPG during her rookie campaign, and held down a starting spot on FDU's historic 2024-25 team. Renninger played a role in helping FDU reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Renninger was named the NEC Rookie of the Year following the season, and was also named to the All-NEC First Team and NEC All-Rookie Team.
