BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU men's golfer Pyae Phyo Thu was named First Team All-NEC in an announcement made by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. This is the second straight year that the senior has garnered all-conference honors, and the first time he has been recognized as first team.

Phyo Thu had an incredible finish to his FDU career at the NEC Championship. He took home the individual title. He fired a 2-under 69 on day three to finish 7-under par performance, five strokes ahead of the field and one stroke shy of the NEC's 54-hole individual record.

The Myanmar native led the Knights with a 73.6 stroke average. He posted six top-25 finishes on the season.
