AMHERST, N.Y. – The FDU men's volleyball team fell to Daemen in four sets on Sunday afternoon.
Jamal Ellis Carballo led the team with 16 kills.
Just like the match between these two teams yesterday, FDU won the first set 25-23. This was an extremely close set. The Knights' largest lead was three.
The second set was close as well. Daemen pulled ahead 21-17 at a crucial time. FDU did respond with three unanswered points but dropped the set 25-22.
FDU held a 17-15 lead in the third set. Daemen then went on a 6-0 run to seize control and eventually won the frame 25-20.
Daemen closed out the match with a 25-22 win in the fourth set.
Ben Casler earned a start and totaled a career-high 11 digs.
Lorenzo Bonomo came one kill away from tying a season-high with 13 today.
