Isago Wins Player of the Week for Fourth Time

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU senior Namie Isago was named the NEC Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Thursday afternoon. It is Isago's fourth Player of the Week award of the year and her second of the spring.
 
The Knights have been riding a six-match win streak and Isago is captaining the ship at the no. 1 singles spot. Last week she helped the Knights over Fairfield, Wagner and Mercyhurst. FDU is a perfect 5-0 in the NEC so far.
 
Isago was excellent individually. Her overall record on the week was 5-1. She was undefeated in three doubles matches.
 
The Brazil native has 15 singles wins on the year, which leads the team. She has won five of her last six matches at no.1 singles and has won four-straight matches at no. 1 doubles.
 
FDU is back in action next Tuesday, April 8. The Knights will travel to take on Temple. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
