HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU men's volleyball fell in three sets to Merrimack at home on Friday evening. The Knights now sit at 10-12 overall, while Merrimack improves to 15-6.
The Warriors took the first set 25-17. They hit a scorching .474 and produced 12 kills. FDU did their best to slow down the attack with three blocks but were unable to keep pace with their opponent.
Merrimack's offense remained in the groove in the second set. The Warriors hit .542 to the tune of 15 hills. FDU was held under .100 in terms of hitting percentage. The set ended 25-14 in favor of Merrimack.
The third set was the closest of the match. Merrimack maintained a hitting percentage of over .500 and won it 25-21. FDU did produce 13 kills but just could now slow down the Warriors.
The Knights were led by Landon Biro, who produced ten kills.

FDU will take on Merrimack tomorrow in the regular season finale at 1 p.m. inside the Bogota Savings Bank Center.
