BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – For the second time this season FDU's Grady Hoffman was named the First Point NEC Men's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. It is the fifth time this season a Knight has won Defensive Player of the Week.

Hoffman anchored FDU's defense in two crucial wins over D'Youville. Their sweep on Saturday clinched FDU's spot in the NEC tournament, which begins on April 25. On Friday night, Hoffman recorded 15 digs. He followed this up with eight digs the next day. Overall, the senior libero totaled 23 digs with just one reception error.

Hoffman leads the Knights with 2.28 digs per set. This not only leads the team, but Hoffman is first in the NEC in both digs per set and total digs. On a national level, Hoffman ranks 15^th in the country in digs per set.

FDU will close out their regular season with two matches at home against Merrimack this weekend. The first match is scheduled for 5 p.m. on April 18.
