PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – FDU women's tennis was defeated by Penn 7-0 in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon.
Alena Kubanova and
Yelena Kim moved to 6-4 on the year as a doubles team. They cruised past their opponents to the tune of 6-1 victory.
The other two doubles matches were competitive, but FDU dropped them 6-4 and 6-3.
In singles play, Penn won all 12 sets in the six matches.
Namie Isago fought at the number one spot, but came up short 3-6, 3-6. Kim forced a tiebreaker in the first set of her match, but lost 6-7 (9-7), 5-7.
